Matchbox factory is nearly gone.
Olympic stadium. Things I saw but couldn't photograph because of my quite rubbish camera - 2 Chinook helicopters , a green woodpecker, 2 magpies (joy) and I smelt the indescribably lovely smell of the bagel factory baking.
I drove past the Matchbox factory at the weekend and it looked is the facade was the only thing left. I understand this is going too, which is an immense shame. At the very least it would have provided a reminder of the old place, and would have been an interesting architectural talking point.
